Susanne Berchtold
2016, the accidental discovery of yoga back then, at least for Susanne. Having just arrived in a new city and primarily on the lookout for another course, which (fortunately) wasn't on offer, her path led her straight to her first yoga class in Aarau. Her enthusiasm and amazement for yoga grew and grew, so that she developed into a yoga teacher and experienced the profound scope of the Far Eastern philosophy during four years of training and has been passing it on since 2020. As an experienced intensive care nurse, illness and health have always been her companions and Susanne considers the combination of both in the context of yoga, especially for people with cancer, to be a wonderful offer. Yoga should not be about performance, but rather about increasing well-being, especially in the context of an illness. To this end, yoga offers a wide range of techniques for relaxation, strengthening muscles, improving balance or simply turning off the carousel of thoughts and feeling good in your own body. Susanne's yoga classes adapt to the physical constitution of the participants, so that no one reaches their limits, but benefits from a good body feeling.
