In order for yoga to unfold its health-promoting effects, you should pay attention to a few points:

  • During and after yoga practice, there should be no pain, apart from some "aching" in the muscles when stretching or occasionally some muscle soreness after practice.

  • If new problems occur after a yoga practice or symptoms worsen, please inform your yoga teacher immediately.

  • If you are unsure whether participation in a yoga class is appropriate and safe for you, please consult your health care professional before your first participation.
